Anxiety & Depression Therapy
It is normal for people to get anxiety and depression now and again. However, it's when these feelings start to negatively affect your day to day life you should seek help. During anxiety and depression therapy, I will help you recognize the symptoms of both anxiety and depression, learn new techniques to combat them and regain control in real life situations. Nobody should allow anxiety and depression to take over their lives and therapy can help you force negative feelings out and release you.
How to Reduce, Prevent and Cope with Anxiety & Stress Management
Anxiety is a natural emotion. A simple doctor or dentist appointment can cause anxiety and this is normal. However when anxiety affects your daily life you may need to talk to someone about it.
I will work with you on managing stress/anxiety and how to take charge: taking charge of your thoughts, your emotions, your schedule, your environment, and the way you deal with problems. My goal as a therapist is to teach you how to lead a more balanced life, with time for work, relationships, relaxation, and fun – plus the resilience to hold up under pressure and meet challenges head on. Relaxation techniques, changing your belief system and setting your priorities will lead you to better physical and mental health.
Depression can rear its ugly head at various times in everyone's life. It can be triggered by major life transitions such as breaking up with someone, loosing a loved one or a job loss can all lead to depression. When depression interferes with your life and starts to show symptoms such as persistent feelings of hopelessness, dejection, poor concentration, lack of energy, inability to sleep, and sometimes suicidal tendencies, it is imperative that you seek therapy and I can help you or your loved one.
